Korea’s LG just launched their latest online holiday advertising campaign, Dear Hero. On their 2009 online advertising holiday campaign, LG give the opportunity to thank your personal hero.

Well, believe or not, everyone of us is hero for somebody else. And each one of us have our personal hero. So far, more than 33,000 heroes (and still counting) are already selected.

LG also did a global survey on who people vote for as their hero. 10,737 respondents from 9 countries participated on 2009 LG Holiday survey. As result, Barrack Obama also stand out as the peoople who deserve to be named “Hero” in 2009 with 37.6% vote, while Dalai Lama get 23.8% vote and Bill-Melinda Gates get 22.5% vote.

  1. Bring world peace – 24.6%

What qualifies someone as a world superhero? Someone who contributes to :

  1. World peace – 34.7%
  2. Environmental Preservation – 17.8%
  3. Human Rights – 16.9%

Who deserves to be named “Hero” in 2009?

  1. Barrack Obama, the Winner of Nobel Peace Prize 2009 – 37.6%
  2. Dalai Lama, the Winner of Nobel Peace Prize 1989 – 23,8%
  3. Bill and Melinda Gates, Founders of Gates Foundation – 22.5%
